Trench Heating
Trench Heating typically involves a convector recessed into a steel
casing within a computer or screeded floor, with a roll-up floor
grille. HCP's products are ideal for combating cold down draughts
and condensation, characteristics often associated with full and
half height glazing and provide an effective heat source where wall
space is limited.

Drawings
HCP’s trench heating units offer Low Pressure Hot Water (LPHW)
or electric elements. The units can be fully or partly recessed,
or floor-mounted depending on the project's requirements

Specifications
HCP’s elements are manufactured from copper tubing, which
are available in diameters of 15, 22 or 28mm; enhancing the heating
output is a profiled grille of extruded aluminium. Our standard
systems are available in nine sizes, but by increasing or decreasing
the diameter of the copper tubing and aluminium grille and/or the
length of the element, a wide range of heating outputs can be achieved.

Design
Design and adaptability are fundamental to the HCP philosophy of
customer commitment, so whatever your space restriction or output
requirement we can design a system to suit your needs. Should an
installation require a special unit to be made, HCP can design and
manufacture a prototype unit in advance of the contract in order
that the specifier, contractor and client can test the system and
ensure maximum satisfaction. |

Options
From casings with front panels, cable trays, partition cover plates
or acoustic baffles HCP offer a number of options to tailor our
product to your requirements. Grilles can be oversized or made to
run in linear lines and casings can be propped up by cantilevered
supports. See diagrams below.
