Radiant heating is one of the most comfortable and energy efficient forms of heating available. Offering a high-performance solution, Radiant Heating panels from HCP are an ideal space heating solution when low operating temperatures and rapid warm-up times are required. HCP is a division of SAS international.
Radiant Heating solutions heat objects rather than air, a good example being how the sun’s rays have a warming effect even though the surrounding air temperature stays the same. Therefore, as no fuel is wasted bringing the air to a comfortable temperature; building occupants can feel warmth within minutes of the system starting and vast amounts of energy are saved as a result.
HCP Radiant Heating systems save further energy through the level of zone control offered, which enables selected parts of a large area to be heated over others. In addition, reduced air and therefore dust movement leads to increased hygiene and occupant comfort.
As an incredibly responsive and energy efficient space heating solution, HCP Radiant Heating panels have low operating costs, as well as minimal maintenance requirements, which is a key consideration as whole-life cycle costs become increasingly important. The panels are manufactured in a wide range of sizes and come fully assembled and tested; facilitating rapid lead times and reduced installation times.
HCP’s Low Pressure Hot Water (LPHW) Radiant Heating panels are available in two different systems; the Radiant Ceiling Tile (RCT) and the Radiant Ceiling Module (RCM). RCT’s are normally integrated with a suspended ceiling system, while RCM’s are suspended directly from the structural soffit and operate on a stand alone basis. Both systems offer a flat, smooth-faced radiant heating surface with an optional anti-bacterial coating.
“The human body relies as much on radiant heat transfer as it does on air temperature, but all too often heating and air-conditioning professionals think only in terms of air temperature,” commented John Staunton, Room Comfort Brand Manager SAS International. “Instant and cost effective, HCP’s Radiant Heating panels offer many benefits over other heating methods and as they are ceiling mounted, free up valuable floor space.”
HCP Radiant Heating systems are used in public buildings such as schools, hospitals, sports halls and classrooms; in industrial scenarios such as warehouses, factories and aircraft hangers; and in commercial offices and reception areas.
As a division of SAS International, HCP products are manufactured in facilities located in the UK. Employing the most advanced computer controlled machinery HCP can efficiently manufacture both high volume off-the-shelf and bespoke products to the highest quality standards. An optional design, supply and installation service is also available from HCP’s in-house Project Management team.
