Increasing lettable area

The specification of Trench Heating or ceiling mounted Radiant Heating frees up valuable wall and floor space. Removing heat emitters from walls will increase the flexibility in which the space can be moved. Furniture can be moved around with greater ease and accidental damage to the heat emitters is prevented. The average cost of building a secondary school in the UK can be up to £1,994 per square metre. For a new general hospital the figure rises to £2,797. Maximising the way the space is used and freeing up previously unusable areas of a room can have a significant impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of the building design.

In a commercial the freeing up of floor space, particularly in a refurbishment project, will lead to an increase in the net lettable area, increasing rental returns.
